GORGY brings death “Birth of Damnation”. The minds of Christians shall be destroyed! screams its press release. Oooh I’m scared. Really. I’m serious. Kentucky’s GORGY have arrived to desecrate and defile me with their crushing debut album Birth Of Damnation on Horror Pain Gore Death Productions. This is especially for fans of Cannibal Corpse, Immolation, Impetigo, Incantation, Lord Gore and Suffocation. Damnation

The ending riff to the Retaliation Of Your Disease is a mindcrushing behemoth of grooviness that can only be conjured up by these twisted Metal musicians. I like the way the sound bites introduced some of the songs like 3rd Degree Sodomy, it adds a bit of colour to what the band represents.

In all honesty, my first initial reaction to this band is the corniness of the band’s unreadable logo, it’s like correction fluid being accidently splashed by some kid onto the band’s cover album, that featured a demon with tentacles(?)

But hey! They stayed true to the brutal death Metal genre and featured 8 slabs of the sickest titles, eg: Battered Bruised Raped & Torn, Disgorge The Child, May Cause Birth Defects. Dang it! After listening to this, I might just do something to my nosy neighbor..
